Music lovers stuck at home due to the COVID-19 virus have some new music available to them as Marco Benevento and Circles Around the Sun have both released live albums through Bandcamp.com, a website that lets musicians sell their music directly to their fans.
Benevento goes way back in his archives for I’m A DJ Too (Vol. 1). The nine-track set of covers sees Benevento put his spin on everything from David Bowie to Shirley Ellis to Pink Floyd. The album, which includes both live and studio recordings, has material from 2010 to the present.
Circles Around the Sun have released CATS LIVE Winter 2020 which highlights the band’s favorite performances from their late February/March 2020 east coast Winter tour that featured Scott Metzger on guitar. The 12-song live album has older CATS songs as well as several from their self-titled album released earlier this year.
