Few names have had as much buzz over the past few years as Marcus King, and with good reason. There are few performers out there who are the total package: can play, sing, AND write. King is one of those, and with his new solo album El Dorado, he puts all the pieces together. The end result is less a guitar-driven record than a modern soul masterpiece.

Marcus King could not have picked a better song to kick off his much anticipated concert and first headlining gig at Minglewood Hall in Memphis, Tennessee on November 9 then “Where I’m Headed.” Most of the crowd was there to find out the answer to where King is headed as well.
The 23-year old King just kicked off a worldwide tour in support of his debut solo album, El Dorado, that runs through April 2020 with very few breaks in between.

The Marcus King Band announced 32 dates on their El Dorado tour today. The tour will take the guitarist throughout the northeast and midwest, wrapping up at New York City’s famed Beacon Theater. Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 13 at 10 am local time.
