Mempho ’25 Hits Every Mark

Mempho ’25 Hits Every Mark

The 2025 version of the Mempho Music Festival delivered on every aspect a music fan looks for in a multi-day event. As usual, the most important ingrediant, the lineup featured a diverse array of musicians. The musical spectrum was well covered… The Pharcyde – Mavis Staples- The Flaming Lips – Leftover Salmon – Lukas Nelson – Kevin Kinney – Charley Crockett – Sierra Ferrell – Tyler Childers – Widespread Panic. With many others perfectly fitting in between.

Festival regulars Widespread Panic headlined the first two nights with raucous two-set performances in front of fans who have followed them around the area for decades. The energy created from the jam band veterans both nights had the packed crowd in a frenzy. Breakthrough americana/country star Tyler Childers easily handled the headlining duties on the final night putting an exclamation point on a seemless weekend.

Not only is the music fan well taken care of at Mempho, the musicians are as well. The festival provides opportunities for local and rising musicians to get in front of larger audiences while consistently bringing some of the biggest touring acts to town as well. From Kevin Kinney, Amy Lavere and Lucero to Lukas Nelson and Leftover Salmon the opportunity to showcase your talents is plentiful.

Located in the heart of the bluff city, Radians Amphitheater, the festival home since 2021 makes Mempho one of the easiest venues to move around. Whether it’s walking between each of the three music stages or taking a few minutes to chill and grab some food or a drink, getting around the beautiful grounds is simple. With a perfectly timed schedule the festivalgoer’s options are unlimited once inside. The unique silent disco has quickly become a yearly festival favorite.

The weather was perfect all weekend as the opressive Memphis summer heat finally gave way to cooler fall temperatures. In a music world full of festivals (many of which have gone out of business), Mempho feels like an annual family reunion. It doesn’t matter if you’re there for one night or want VIP treatment all weekend. The southern hospitality applies to all.

Below is a photo gallery from festival photographers Bob Bayne, Ian Rawn and Joshua Timmermans perfectly encompassing all aspects of the 2025 Mempho Music Festival. Music, food, and fun.
