MMJ’s Jim James to team with orchestra for special performance

My Morning Jacket’s founder and frontman, Jim James will be pairing with joins the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) Pops on Wednesday, September 4 for a live performance of his upcoming new album.

The NSO will be led by Music Director of the Louisville Orchestra, Teddy Abrams, and the concert will be held at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall in Washington, DC. The concert coincides with the upcoming album release of James and Abrams’s collaboration on Decca Gold, The Order of Nature: A Song Cycle.
