It’s Mempho So It’s Time to Panic

In a music world filled with festivals falling by the wayside, the Mempho Music Festival is the model of consistency and a prime example of how to stand apart from their competition. Anchored by perennial headliners Widespread Panic, not even the remnants of hurricane Isaias could knock the festival established in 2017 off course.

A perfect fall weekend set the stage for thousands of music fans to descend on the Bluff City for the 2026 version of Mempho. As usual, the lineup ran the gamut of musical genres with three days full of rock, country, electronic dance, indie alternative, and jam band. Pretty Lights headlined a jamtronica heavy Friday night with Panic closing the festival Saturday and Sunday night.

Set in the heart of the city at the beautiful Memphis Botanic Garden, Mempho has long found its groove as the area’s biggest musical festival. The grounds are supremely easy to navigate. Moving between the two main stages literally takes a minute or two. Everything you need is right there. Food, lounges, bathrooms, silent discos, merchandise, and on and on. Simplicity is the name of the game from the line to get in, to the most laid-back festivalgoer experience once inside.
