Karina Rykman Announces New Album and Biggest Tour

Bubbly bassist Karina Rykman has emerged from a self-imposed hibernation to announce the release of her long awaited sophomore album Late Checkout. The 12-song album is set for release on September 25th, which happily coincides with her recently announced Webster Hall concert the same night.

To help ease the three month wait, Rykman also released the album’s first single and video for the song Easy, Rider.

Like her 2023 debut Joyride, Rykman once again recorded at Trey Anastasio’s studio The Barn in Vermont. She also spent time at LCD Soundsystem’s studio DFA in New York City. The recording includes her band guitarist Adam November and drummer (and newlywed) Chris Corsico. Longtime pal and collaborator Gabe Monro produced the album, wrote several songs with Rykman, as well as played multiple instruments throughout.

After her Webster Hall album release party, Rykman and crew will head across the country in October and November for the biggest headlining tour of her career.
