Disco cosmonauts Circles Around the Sun have invited harpist Mikaela Davis on their latest journey through space. The result, After Sunrise, will be released on April 5th via Kill Rock Stars and Jealous Butcher records.
Davis’s Avant Garde harp explorations are the perfect complement to CATS’s unrelenting mission to explore the deepest regions of their unique musical universe. Davis and her magical harp were featured on the title track to CATS’s 2023 release Language.
The upcoming album features an extended live version Language as well as Davis providing the first vocals on a CATS release in the glorious single After Sunrise. The band’s video of the song is below. CATS and Davis will hit the road in late February covering a good chunk of the Midwest and Northeast to promote the album.
