The Hot August Music Festival, held on August 15 at Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville, Maryland, has announced its initial lineup, and the 2020 installment – the festival’s 28th – will bridge many genres. Greensky Bluegrass, Larkin Poe, and Shakey Graves top the lineup, giving fest attendees a little taste of bluegrass, blues, and Americana.
Festival founder Brad Selko states “To provide a different variety of American Roots music each year. Blues, bluegrass, rock, funk, jam, whatever.” Along with the aforementioned, the lineup is rounded out by Andy Frasco & the U.N., Cabinet, Brothers Comatose, Tenth Mountain Division, and Hambone Relay. Organizers have also announced that there will be a Grammy-nominated special guest artist to be announced later.
